Machine Learning Engineer, with a flair for the mathematical details. I spend a large amount of time on the mathematics behind the algorithms in order to fully understand what is going on. I am a big fan of PyTorch, but also use TensorFlow. I am currently exploring Speech Recognition models, deep learning for algorithmic trading, Computer Vision, NLP (Question-Answering, classification, etc.) and GANs in various forms.
I started a Copenhagen based research initiative http://******.**), where the idea is to accelerate AI research in Copenhagen and I am currently working with the software department of University of Copenhagen (DIKU) on both research and other initiatives.

Developing Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and various other deep learning models to find patterns leading to real-time detection of cardiac arrest.
Our initial focus has been on helping emergency medical personnel, particularly emergency telephone numbers such as 112 and 911 (with over 500 million calls made each year), and the fact that emergency dispatchers are balancing life and death situations in up to 200 calls per day.
Dispatchers are especially hard-pressed with time-sensitive crises, such as cardiac arrests (which claim over 3 million lives a year), because high stakes, too little time, and not enough information can be a recipe for disaster.
Our models assist the dispatchers in the fast detection of these situations.
