My passion for and expertise in data analysis comes from a life-long obsession with data. From studying how holding a good hand in poker leads to increased eye movement or calculating product profit margins for the local supermarket as a young teenager, I have always been interested in data can improve decisions.
This obsession shows clearly in all aspects of my life, from the beginning of my career when I after 3 months as a student assistant in collections was tasked with stock portfolio- and risk analysis, to now where I spend my time building Power BI reports and helping managers to analyze their CRM data, identify leads that are ready for sales based on their website and social activity, or in other ways turn raw data into insight that can be acted upon. I even spend my free time analyzing correlations between results of professional surfers and which direction the wind is blowing (literally…).
My passion for data, and the resulting skillset, has brought me to work closely with all different departments of a business, both during my time as a business developer/project manager in Santander Consumer Bank, ultimately spearheading an entirely new business segment, and after where I, as an analyst/consultant, have worked with a range of different companies in different industries, to analyze website user experience, the effectiveness of marketing material, or anything in between.
In short, I am driven by the transformation of raw data into actionable insights.
