I have worked with compliance and data protection initiatives since 2006 including Sarbanes-Oxley Act, EuroSox, Financial Compliance, ISO and latest General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with people management since 2012 as both Senior Manager and responsible for SAP Security & Compliance at PwC and as team lead for GDPR management and SAP Security at 2BM.
I understand the complexity and impact compliance with external regulation have on the organisation. With a pragmatic approach to the challenges and a “can do” attitude, I strive to deliver solid solutions that align business requirements, compliance & technology.
I have served two years in SAPs Customer Advisory Counsel for GRC Access Control, representing Vestas Wind Systems, in forming the future for how provisioning of access to systems should be formed.
As part of the work with GDPR in the recent years I have been the project manager and lead on GDPR projects in large organizations such as Carlsberg and Salling Group.
At Carlsberg I was project manager and starting up the GDPR project based in the legal department, defining the deliverables and running the project from the first phases.
At Salling group the task was to lead and facilitate the implementation of GDPR in parts of the IT organization, including Information Security. Later on in the project, I assisted the Legal department with various GDPR initiatives.
I have worked on multiple compliance projects – domestically as well as internationally – for different C20 companies. My experience includes not only of the technical application (with a main focus on SAP), but also of ensuring that the right type of compliance approach is chosen in order to deliver optimized value based on business requirements together with project management.
